Lake Michigan Escape
Located across Lake Michigan and away from all the hustle and bustle of Chicago, this beachfront home was designed to offer a peaceful space for family and friends to gather. Originally designed by our team in 2015, we were granted the opportunity work on this home once more and give it some additional updates. This design was inspired by our client’s international roots and her husband’s love for Mid-Century Modern antiques. From the soft, sheepskin textures to the natural driftwood tones, this home surrounds you in comfort. The focal point of this home is the vintage Thayer Coggin curved sofa facing Lake Michigan. This home also features a custom bunk-room, providing ample space for friends and family to stay. Sourced from the homeowner’s retail shop, Nomad Chicago, vintage Moroccan rugs add pops of color to the kitchen and bedrooms.
